Orientation Meetings

Qualifications

To become a Network Foster Parent, you must pass these initial screening requirements:
• Be at least 25 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Own a car.
• Have adequate income.
• Have separate bedroom space for a child.
• Pass criminal and child-abuse background checks.
• If married or living with a significant other, have a spouse or significant other who is willing to go through training with you and provide backup support.
• Complete pre-service training, specialized program training and 12 hours of yearly ongoing training.
